d. g. k. goldberg shut down the original version of this web site in 2003. At first she never even wanted a web site, but finally asked me to build her one after constant nagging from her writing peers. It was her official web site, although she treated it more as a toy that she and I played with often. She gave me tremedous freedom to do as I pleased and sometiems it felt as if I wrote as much of the text here as she did. I was surprised at how I was actually the voice of reason and restrant as we discussed web changes over many an Italian lunch.

After discussing this with her family, we have revived and cleaned up this site both as a a memorial to her and tell you about new published works that we should be promoting soon. I have removed many of my own cmments from the site, except for this page and the captions to most of the photos which she often said she enjoyed. Some small silliness may be found here and there that we collaborated on. Most of the bio and all of the rants are pure d. g. k. goldberg.

Many of you visiting this site were either a fan, a fellow writer, a close friend or someone curious about this person. If you are a passing visitor, I urge you to seek out her works and watch for the story collection that should be released soon. For all of the rest of you that miss her as I do, I'll simply repeat what I have said elsewhere: : If each of us whose lives have been touched by her can remember that we are all better people because we knew her, then she will never really be gone.
